Image Resizer & Compressor helps you resize and compress photos on your Android device to meet upload size or dimension limits. Processing stays on your phone. We do not collect, upload, or sell your images or personal data in the current release.

What we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Image Resizer & Compressor has no developer-operated backend in v1.

• Photos you choose are decoded, resized, compressed, and saved on your device. We do not upload your images to our servers.
• A short list of recent exports (file name, size, and local paths) may be stored on your device so you can reopen or share them quickly.
• When metadata preservation is enabled for JPEG output, common date and camera fields may be kept in the exported file. GPS/location metadata is never copied. You can turn metadata preservation off.
• No account, email, or login is required.
• No analytics or advertising SDKs in the current release.

Network use

Image Resizer & Compressor does not use the internet. The app does not request internet access. All image processing runs on your device.

Permissions

• Photos / gallery — only when you pick an image through Android's system photo picker or file browser.
• Camera — only when you choose to capture a new photo for editing (handled through the system camera flow).
• Storage / media — only when you save a processed image to your gallery or choose where to export it.

The app does not request broad access to your entire photo library. You choose each image explicitly.

Third-party services

Current version: No ads, no cloud processing, and no third-party analytics. Image resize and compression run on your device.

Future updates: If we add optional ads, cloud features, or other online services, we will update this page before they ship.

Children's privacy

Image Resizer & Compressor does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We will update this page if our data practices change.
